At Designs Unlimited, we specialise in creating interiors with substance, character and clarity. Whether we’re designing for commercial spaces, residential developments or heritage sites, our approach is grounded in experience and shaped by collaboration.
Led by Jo Heyse-Moore, our studio brings over 20 years of knowledge to every project, from high-end hospitality to listed buildings and complex historical renovation work. We understand the challenges that come with layered architecture, sensitive planning contexts and high-footfall commercial use and we design accordingly.
What unites our work is a focus on making spaces work for the people who use them. That means clear layouts, practical decisions, and strong visual identity, always tailored to the building and brief.
We’re based in the South West and work nationally, supporting private clients, property developers and commercial teams who want calm, capable support and design that holds its ground.
We don’t chase trends. We design with purpose. And we stay focused on helping every project find its rhythm and clarity, whether it’s a heritage refurbishment or a brand-new scheme.

Principal
With over twenty years of experience, Jo offers comprehensive and individual design solutions which are tailored to suit each job.
Many returning clients are a testament to Jo’s design skills. She consistently approaches every new task with a fresh eye and new ideas. Most importantly, her ethos is to listen carefully to clients’ requirements, translating a project brief into a great result.
HEIDI HAINES
Interior Designer
Since graduating, Heidi has expertly employed her skills in and around the design industry. Her wide-ranging skills include spacial design, 3D design programmes, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and SketchUp. Client-side, interpersonal skills, allow the development and refining of a brief plus growing strong and lasting client relationships. Heidi is an invaluable member of our design team.
ANDREW SMITH
Architect
Andy offers technical expertise to back up design ideas, along with a sound base of contract administration knowledge. This covers varied forms of contract procurement, including traditional design and build formats. He strongly advocates the benefits of an inclusive team approach to the construction process.
Andy’s architectural skills allow the team to fulfil any structural design requirements.
